What is it like in Sip & Paint?
Relaxing while working, it is a rare combination. Bring your favourite beverage and enjoy our relaxed and fun environment where we will guide you step-by-step how to paint the session’s featured artwork.

Where is the studio located?
We are at 1/49 Collins Road, Melton VIC 3337, and the painting area is on first floor which is accessible only by stairs.
Once I have booked, what happens next?
Once your order has been processed, you will be sent a confirmation email confirming your order and you will be given some information regarding your session.
What is included in the cost of the session?
The price per session includes everything you’ll need to create your chef-d'œuvre (except whatever you’ll be drinking or eating).
You’ll have all the necessary equipment provided, including:
A blank canvas
Acrylic paints
Brushes
Table easel
Apron
Glassware
Fridge for drinks

What is Me-Time Sessions?
Me-time isn't just spending time on your own. 'Me Time' is the conscious effort of taking (much needed) time-out to recharge your batteries. When you attend a me-time session, you will be having peace of mind, focusing on yourself.
We will provide you with everything you need to paint, and we will only guide/show you step-by-step how to paint the session’s featured artwork without disturbing you and have very minimal conversation if needed. You just need to follow the steps.
You must bring your headset/earphone/earbuds, your phone with your favourite music, and you enjoy the moment. You can also go for no music; you just enjoy painting with quietness.

Should I make a booking in advance?
We do not want you to miss out. We have limited spots available, so booking in advance is more than necessary. It also helps us in preparing to welcome you.

How long are the sessions?
Our sessions run between 2 and 2.5 hours depending on the session. The duration is specified below each session listed.
What time should I arrive?
In general, painting starts 10-15 minutes after the mentioned session time, allowing you to check-in and settling down.

What do I do if I am running late?
Things happen! Please do not panic trying to contact the studio numerously, as we will be busy assisting other with the session. Drive safe, reach safe and ensure the session isn’t interrupted. We will catch you up during the next paint-drying break.
Are children allowed at the session?
All participants in interactive and me-time sessions must be 18 and over. School holiday events and private functions are a completely different process. Any all-age events will be advertised as needed.
*Our Kids Time Sessions is for age 7+ to 16.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable. We provide aprons to protect your clothes but we recommend that you wear something that you won’t mind if a little paint splashes on – it happens.
If I come with a friend, will we be sitting together?
We will always do our best to ensure that groups are placed together.
If you and your friends are booking separately, it’s best to arrive a little earlier to ensure we can seat your group together.
Do we have to copy the exact host’s artwork?
Of course Not! – we want you to be creative for sure. Our step-by-step instructions are more of a guide.

Can I purchase any alcohol at Sip & Paint?
Sip & Paint is BYO only. We don’t sell any alcoholic drinks in the studio, so it is important to bring your favourite beverage with you.
If you do happen to forget, there is a bottle shop around the area.

Can I bring along someone who won't be painting?
Unfortunately, no. Seats are reserved for painting customers only.

Can we bring any type of alcohol?
The only beverages accepted as the only BYO options are;

Premixed sealed beverages.
The consumption of shots or straight liquor is strictly not permitted in Sip & Paint’s studio, including bringing separate products to mix in-studio.

Can we BYO our own nibbles or food?
Of Course! We strongly encourage everyone to have a little food to eat while they paint and sip! Bring yourself some nibbles.​

Assistance Dogs and other animals
Animals are strictly not permitted entry into our studios except for Guests with an assistance dog, as legislated by Federal Law through the Disability Discrimination Act 1992. To ensure that the Guest and their assistance dog is seated appropriately and with comfort, the Guest must notify us prior to their session by calling us on +61 422 962 244 or emailing us at info@sipnpaint.com.au. As permitted by law, at the time of entry at our studio, we may ask the Guest to present documentation showing that the assistance dog is qualified, accredited, and serving the Guest they are with. The assistance dog must be wearing a jacket with branding from the organisation that qualified it.

Can I host a private party or function at Sip & Paint’s studio?
Surely! Sip & Paint can accommodate many types of private functions including kids, birthdays, hens’ parties and team building.

Can I have a discount?
We have discount codes from time to time, do check our website. Or if you want us to keep you updated when there is a promotion, let us know by send us an email or just register with us.
Any transactions with 8 or more tickets are eligible for a 10% discount – use GROUPTEN in the coupon code area at checkout. More money for snacks and wine!​

Can I make a booking in person?
Unfortunately, we only accept online bookings at the moment, as we may not be on-site if you do come visit us.

RESCHEDULE/CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Sip and Paint
We will make every effort to deliver our services to you, as promised.
However, on occasion, we may need to reschedule a session where insufficient bookings are made. We will do our best to provide you sufficient notice about any session rescheduling. In the interest of avoiding a session rescheduling, we may elect to reschedule the session at a time which you may consider you received insufficient notice due to your circumstances. We apologise to you in advance for any inconvenience caused.
In that case, ticket purchasers will be offered a reschedule to another upcoming sessions or credited the value of their purchase for future use.
In the rare event that a public session is cancelled, the ticket purchaser will be notified via email or text message no later than 24 hours prior to their session scheduled start time.
Attendees
Cancellations: A request to cancel seats shall be considered as a request to reschedule seats. You will need to choose your next most convenient session date that is available, or we can provide a credit towards a future booking (minus the rebooking fee).
Credit Vouchers: Credit vouchers may be used to book into any upcoming session within the next 3 years from the date it is issued.
Refunds: Requests for a refund will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We understand that sometimes life gets in the way. In genuine cases after you provide a valid/verified documentation, we are happy to cancel your booking for $25 non-negotiable fee per ticket up to 48-hours before your scheduled session time. If you request within the 48 hours period, we will only offer rescheduling or credit.
If you are entitled to a refund after providing a valid/verified documentation, you will be refunded in the same way you paid. Depending on the bank you are with, you should receive any monies refunded to you within 5 business days, thereafter.

Afterpay: Bookings made via afterpay will not receive a full refund should you be entitled for one. A 20% of the amount paid applies as fee, should you be entitled for a refund under our cancellation policy.

6 or More Tickets Purchased:
For bookings of 6+ tickets, there will be a $25 non-negotiable fee per ticket to cancel or reschedule at any time.
No Show: We are very strict on ‘no shows’. If you don’t show up for the class, we’ll still charge you the full amount. We are unable to refund, reschedule or provide credit for a missed session.
e-Gift: Please make a considered decision before purchasing OUR e-Gift Vouchers as we do not offer refunds upon purchase.
Private Functions:
Private Function deposits are non-refundable.
If the full amount has been paid and there is more than 2 weeks before the session date, we can reschedule your private function to another date that is suitable for both of us.
